Gutters are an important part of keeping water out of your home. People often overlook the importance of their gutters until there is an issue that must be fixed. Gutter Guard is a great solution to avoid a build up of leaves, dirt, moss, mud and sticks in your gutters which cause the blockages. The water build up from these blockages cause major damages like rust, leaks and in the worse case the gutters can dislodge from the wall and fall off.
Here at GCS we have 3 types of gutter guard we install all manufactured by Leaf Stopper Gutter Gard:
Polymesh – 10 Year Guarantee – Polymesh is great for coastal areas that get a lot of salt build up. It is also good for galvanised roofs where different metals may react to each other.
Diamond Aluminium Gutter Guard Mesh – 15 year Guarantee on our install - a common material choice of gutter guard, it is corrosion resistant, strong and malleable enough to conform to the roof. But it cannot be used on buildings with a BAL-40 and a BAL-FZ rating.
Ember Defender Stainless Steel Mesh - 15 Year Guarantee – Steel is the perfect choice for buildings with a BAL-40 and BAL-FZ rating. It is a brittle material with a less appealing look than the smaller mesh.
Work Health And Safety
At GCS we are aware that being up on roofs it can be very dangerous. We have strict measures in place to ensure accidents are prevented. All our team members hold a Working at Heights certification. As a company we hold $20 Million Public Liability Insurance. We have Safe Work Method Statements in place that all our team members have signed to control hazards that may arise while we are onsite. We care very much about safety, we want our team members to be able to go home every day in the same condition they came to work in.
Flexibility To All Our Clients
All our pressure cleaners and vac truck run off petrol powered generators, so no need to plug into your power. With our equipment running itself 9 times out of 10 you don’t need to be at the property while our team is there. All we need is a bit of water.
We ensure that our work areas are safe and closed off so that no pedestrians get injured or affected while we are working (especially when we are working above the ground level).
